JumpCloud Agent Release Notes for April 6, 2026

New Agent release (version  2.107.6)

Note:
  • Agent releases are rolled out over the course of the week. You may not see these changes right away.

All Platforms

Fixes

  • JumpCloud Go:
    • Resolved an issue where registration failed for EU users with a misleading network error at login.
    • Resolved an issue that caused an irrelevant “click here to login” prompt to flash during the registration workflow.

Enhancements

  • Optimized device signal collection to reduce agent overhead and improve device responsiveness.

macOS and Windows

Enhancements

  • Updated App Catalog notifications to explicitly instruct users to close the application first, ensuring the “Update now” action succeeds on the first attempt.

macOS

Enhancements

  • Implemented changes to allow App Catalog apps to be fully removed from Mac computers when an administrator uninstalls them, rather than silently leaving files behind.

Windows

Enhancements

  • Updated the Windows tray app with a more modern interface, improving readability and usability of supported functions. See Get Started: Windows App to learn more.
  • Improved Patch Management reporting with each update now displaying a pending, in-progress, or failed installation status.
  • The Windows Credential Provider no longer requires dependency installers. The dependency loader was removed to simplify installation.
  • Improved visibility into user sessions by better tracking both sign-in and sign-out events for auditing and policy purposes.

Fixes

  • Account lockout counter settings configured via the Local Security Policy now persist across reboots instead of reverting to default values.
  • Resolved an issue where Active Directory (AD)-joined users working off-network couldn't log in and were blocked by incorrect JumpCloud credential tiles.

Linux

Fixes

  • Resolved unnecessary audit and syslog churn (and associated disk usage) by disabling unneeded audit forwarding.
